California Chicken Marinade

California Chicken Marinade

This is our favorite chicken marinade.  Jeremy's mom makes it all the time, the recipe comes out of a Navigators Cookbook that she has.  It's great on chicken that is grilled, broiled, or cooked in a pan.  It's even better with fresh herbs, but all I had was dried.

-1/2 c olive oil
-1/4 c soy sauce
-1/4 c lemon juice
-1/8 c Worcestershire sauce
-1/8 c prepared mustard
-1 tsp salt
-1 Tbsp pepper
-1 clove garlic, minced
-1/2 tsp paprika
-1/2 tsp onion powder
-1/2 tsp dried basil
-1/2 tsp dried thyme

Combine ingredients.  Allow chicken to marinate for at least 1 hours, and up to 8 hours prior to cooking.
