I have been wanting to make Chicken Cacciatore for years, but have never got around to it. Now I am kicking myself for not trying it sooner, it was delicious! I opted for
Ree's version as she has never steered me wrong before. I omitted the butter and reduced the oil to make it more healthful, and then served it over whole wheat spaghetti. I also had to cook my chicken a lot longer then she indicated in the recipe for it to be cooked through. I absolutely loved the dimension that the turmeric added to the tomato sauce and might try adding a pinch of it in my spaghetti sauce in the future.
