What a blessing to have ...Congratulations Shannon! What a blessing to have a new little one to share your life. There are so many things we learn through these experiences. By the time we were expecting our third baby, there were things that I did NOT want them (the hospital) to do. The biggest question we always asked our doctor was WHY?? Why do you have to do a sonogram?? Why do you have to do vaginal exams in the last four weeks. He could not give us a medical reason, so unless it was medically necessary, we would forgo those procedures. It helps to have a Doctor and/or midwife that is willing to go along with your wishes. We certainly did not want to jeopardize the health and welfare of our baby, but we also knew what you said, that too much intervention sometimes leads down a medical road. Having a baby is supposed to be one of the most natural things for a woman to do. But the best thing is that you are enjoying little Noah. Blessings to all of you, and have a wonderful Christmas!Jocelynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02714577523744715551noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2828387686748035384.post-17767601661021313412010-11-22T14:33:08.653-05:002010-11-22T14:33:08.653-05:00Congratulations! I definitely felt the same way when I had to have an emergency c-section with my first. I am glad that all is well and that you are home and in love with your baby! Enjoy this period - it was one of the highlights of my life!jasjawillishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04193965848187360539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2828387686748035384.post-81398691537828959332010-11-17T22:35:04.934-05:002010-11-17T22:35:04.934-05:00Thanks so much for sharing your story. God knew all along you'd have a c-section. It's hard for us to imagine that though! I felt like the second one was easier if that makes you feel any better! Praying for you guys.
